Portrait of Ruin

General

Jonathan & Charlotte

Basics & Techniques

Why use Jonathan over Charlotte?

^ Can super jump
^ Can use special attack
^ Can use special commands
^ Can dive kick
^ Having Charlotte out or not does not make any difference

v Charlotte as backup unable to charge spells

If you're going for Jonathan with Charlotte as backup, it's a more aggressive set up because you'll be using the killing machine of the pair while the backup supports you with spells and buffs.

Why use Charlotte over Jonathan?

^ Can charge her spells
^ Having Jonathan out as backup will enable you to spam sub weapons (hold R button)

v No super jump
v No special attack
v No special commands
v No dive kick
v Lack of combos

If you're going for Charlotte with Jonathan as backup, it's more of a stable team since both of you will be doing comparable damage (your attacks and charged spells versus Jonathan's subweapon spamming and brute strength).

To be honest, I see no reason to use Charlotte as the lead other than for her charged buffs but you can use them by switching to Jonathan anyway. Even with her charged offensive spells and speedstar accessory, they still get outdamaged by Jonathan's brute strength later.

How to gain charged spell buffs from Charlotte while using Jonathan?

You will need to use Charlotte while having Jonathan out (on screen) for back up. Charge up her spell and simply change to Jonathan. Will not work if Jonathan isn't out.

Tips on switching characters

Switching characters when your backup isn't active will enable you to switch automatically. Switching characters when your backup is active will take half second to switch. Keep this in mind if you are speed running or doing boss rush.

Buffering Jonathan's Critical attack

While moving forward you can simply pull off a special attack with forward + Y instead of forward x 2 + Y.

Fastest way of moving around?

Fastest
1) Charlotte's Speed Up spell (charged) + jump kicks
2) Charlotte's Speed Up spell + jump kicks
3) Winged Boots + jump kicks
4) Mercury Boots + jump kicks
5) Running + jump kicks

Adding jump kicks while moving is always faster than not adding them. Just make sure you jump kick high enough. Not too high or else you will roll once you land, and not too low or else you won't be gaining any extra distance.

Fastest way of going down?

Dive kick straight down (not diagonal unless it's a must since you will roll on the ground when you land). Once landing, jump to get out of delay (same technique as Alucard for SotN).

Jonathan subweapon spam

The same as Soma's soul spam in DoS. Throw a subweapon, backdash cancel it (L button), throw again and repeat. Knives and Darts can be spammed infinitely. Other subweapons have a limited amount on how many can be onscreen at once.

Richter & Maria

Basics & Techniques

DPS: damage per second

Richter Belmont

* Richter's attacks are holy based.
* Richter is strong against holy attacks.
* Richter lost his item crashes.
* Richter moves faster than Maria (only way for Maria to move as fast as Richter is to slide).
* Richter is needed to reach high places since only he has super jump.
* Richter's whip is now longer than his previous versions.
* Richter's slide is now slower than SotN, but his followup is now faster than SotN.
* Richter's backflip is now performed by pressing v + L when jumping.
* Richter's Tackle (^<v> + Y) is still around. Hits twice. If it doesn't kill enemy, will not go through. Uses MP now.
* Richter has a new move called Spinning Kick which is performed by pressing >v<> + Y.
* Richter has a new move called Combo by pressing >v<^> + Y.

Sub Weapons

Knife: Throws 2 knives that does 2 hits. I see absolutely no use of it. Piercing damage.

Axe: Just like Julius in DoS. Hits multiple times. Piercing damage. Doesn't go through thick skinned enemies.

Book: Book that spins in circles on the screen, just like in SotN. Holy attribute.

Holy Water: Does more hits than Julius in DoS (3 hits). Also lasts longer. Holy attribute.

Cross: Nothing new. Holy attribute.

Grand Cross: Does much more hits than Julius in DoS. Just not as damaging. Holy attribute.

Comment: I find Richter almost useless (his Axe is still useful in some cases). He's mainly used to speed around the areas or when you want to play keepaway with his long range. He does become more useful than Maria in games where you die in a couple of hits (Hard Mode lv 1 cap) since he's much more swift than Maria.

Maria Renard

* Maria is strong against holy attacks.
* Maria lost her item crashes.
* Maria regens MP much faster than Richter.
* Maria's slide is as fast as Richter's walking speed.
* Maria's normal attack hit multiple times. Nice DPS but hits a bit upward.
* Maria still has her Guardian Knuckle (^<v> + Y). It lacks the damage and range from RoB but steals HP now.
* Holding up for around 5 seconds will make Maria perform a new pose.

Sub Weapons

Dragon: Basically a wall in front of you that goes through most enemies. Hit multiple times. Can be spammed. Slash damage. Doesn't go through thick skinned enemies. Ice attribute.

Bird: Flies above your head. Works like Richter's axe, just can't do as many hits. Fire attribute.

Cat: Basically works like the student witch soul in AoS and goes through most enemies. Hits multiple times but does more hits than the dragon skill. Can be spammed. Lightning attribute.

Turtle: Lessens damage taken from enemies. Used when you know you won't be fast enough to avoid the attack.

Comment: Her normal attack alone beats Richter by a mile. Her subweapons are also better. With that it's hard to decide if Maria should be put as lead or be backup (spam subweapons). Her sub weapons could've been more polished though. Her dragon and cat skills are very similiar in properties and her bird skill and her normal attack is pretty similiar. Only thing that makes them differ is the element damage. There might be something good about Richter, but at the moment I only use Richter to move around and let Maria kill bosses.

Stella & Loretta

Basics & Techniques

DPS = damage per second

Hearts refill your MP.

Stella and Loretta may look tall, but their invincible frames are very large. Their whole upper body (head to waist) is invulnerable.

Fastest way to go down. Drain ALL your MP and hold down. A bit faster than going down with MP.

You can tap on the screen to confirm stuff like entering portraits, saving or warping. When warping, you can tap on the desired place you want to warp to instead of pressing left or right.

Stella uses less MP than Loretta when used correctly. Placing your stylus on the screen will drain your MP much faster than Loretta and does not actually make you attack faster than just tapping around since Stella has fixed DPS (1 hit per second). tapping saves you MP for flying around while still doing the same DPS as pressing on the screen.

With that known now, you may think Stella is much better than Loretta right (since Loretta has to press on the screen to get the most DPS)? Wrong. True that loretta will drain MP much faster than Stella now, but her DPS until her MP runs out is much faster. Basically, if an enemy goes down before her MP runs out, Loretta is the choice and not Stella. If the enemy doesn't go down from a full MP meter but will go down a bit afterwards, it's still wise to use Loretta and tap the last few hits. If the enemy is much stronger than that (most like the end-game bosses), Stella is the choice.

Stella is based on Jonathan (the stronger attack and def of the pair), meaning her attack is based on melee strength (bash, pierce, slash, etc). Enemies strong to melee attack will take less damage from Stella.

Loretta is based on Charlotte (the weaker attack and def of the pair), meaning her attack is based on (I'm not exactly sure how to say it) magic. Enemies strong to magic will take less damage from Loretta.

Stella

^ Higher ATT than Loretta
^ More DEF than Loretta
^ Overall faster DPS
^ Attack goes through everything (if there's a row of enemies, you can attack the enemy from at the back while not having to touch the front)

v Slower attack speed than Loretta
v Has less control over fights

Overall a very solid character compared to her sister. She may look perfect but is actually lacking the most important thing, and that's attack speed.

Loretta

^ Faster attack speed than Stella
^ Has better control over fights

v Less ATT than Stella
v Less DEF than Stella
v Overall less DPS
v Attack does not go through everything (if there's a row of enemies, you will have to kill from the front until the back)

Loretta may have a lot of bad points compared to Stella, but her positive points makes up for all the loss. The more you hits you get into the opponent, the longer they will be in stun animation.

Bossrush

Jonathan & Charlotte Course 1 Strategies

Start with Jonathan.

The main things you will be needing at the moment is:

Jonathan

Weapon: Illusion Fist
Sub Weapon: -
Armor: Berserker Mail
Head: Attica Helmet
Foot: Winged Boots
Accessory: Miser Ring (9,990,000 gold)
Accessory: Hercules Ring
Dual Crash: -

Charlotte

Weapon: -
Spell: Speed Up
Armor: Dalmatica
Head: Holy Veil
Foot: Succubus Boots
Accessory: Sorceress Crest
Accessory: Sorceress Crest
Dual Crash: -

Right when you start, don't let Charlotte cast Speed Up yet. Just make sure to hug the ground while avoiding the stairs by jumping.

In the room with Skeletons and Axe Armor, cast speed up while jump kicking through the room. Make sure not to touch the enemies with your kick. The kick has to be high enough or else you won't be gaining any extra distance, just make sure not to jump kick too high or else you will roll once landing. You can jump kick at least 3 times in this room. If you need the extra space to jump kick, kill the Axe Armor while running. Why jump kick? Because it's faster.

In the room with Mermen and a Golem, cast speed up while jump kicking through the room. Make sure not to touch the enemies with your kick. The kick has to be high enough or else you won't be gaining any extra distance, just make sure not to jump kick too high or else you will roll once landing. You can jump kick at least 3 times in this room. If you need the extra space to jump kick, kill the Golem while running.

In the room with Balore, cast speed up. Once you have speed up on you. Change Winged Boots to Samurai Leggings and Hercules Ring to Assassin's Cape for Jonathan. Once you reach the middle of the room, jump right into Balore and start mashing on the attack button. If done fast enough, you should be able to kill him before or right when you land on the ground. Switch Samurai Leggings back to Winged Boots and Assassin's Cape back to Hercules Ring.

In the room with Armor Knights and Great Armor, cast speed up while jump kicking through the room. Make sure not to touch the enemies with your kick. The kick has to be high enough or else you won't be gaining any extra distance, just make sure not to jump kick too high or else you will roll once landing. You can jump kick at least 3 times in this room. If you need the extra space to jump kick, kill the Great Armor while running.

In the room with the Dragon, jump kick while casting speed up. Right when you land, kill the Dragon while running and then do as many jump kicks as you can. At least 3 can be done.

In the room with Gergoth, change Winged Boots to Samurai Leggings for Jonathan and Speed Up to Ice Fang for Charlotte. Walk through Gergoth, mashing on the attack button while casting Ice Fang. If done fast enough, you should be able to kill him before you reach the door. After killing him, switch Samurai Leggings back to Winged boots and enter the opened door.

Stella & Loretta Course 1 Strategies

Start with Loretta (the entire session uses Loretta).

Right when you start, make sure to hug the ground while avoiding the stairs to conserve MP.

Here is the first room where you will learn a technique on how to get a faster time. It's called the damage boost. How it works is you have to get hit by an enemy from either the top back or bottom back of your sprite so it pushes you forward (getting pushed is faster than normal movement). In this room, you will be damage boosting off the Skeleton bones (there's two of them in the room. Don't forget to hug the ground as much as possible to regen MP.

In this room, you will be damage boosting off the two Mermen. Simply kill the Golem so it doesn't block your way. Damage boosting off the Mermen might be a bit difficult since they move around randomly. Don't forget to hug the ground as much as possible to regen MP.

Once entering Balore's room, start attacking (with Loretta) while flying over his fist then staying on the ground. The attack you are hoping for him to do is his laser since you can fit in all attacks without any interruption. If he starts off with his fist attack, some of your attacks will be blocked from his fist making you lose a bit of time. Don't forget to hug the ground as much as possible to regen MP.

Same tactic as what you did in the Merman/Golem room. Damage boost off the two Armor Knights while killing the Great Armor. Don't forget to hug the ground as much as possible to regen MP.

This one is simple since the Dragon Zombie is large. Just damage boost off it. Don't forget to hug the ground as much as possible to regen MP.

If you've been saving up on MP, then you'll have enough to kill Gergoth without having to land on the ground. Fly over it while attack and start hugging the right side of the room while trying to enter the closed door (it will open soon enough). With the right timing, you'll damage boost right into the opening door.

If done correctly you should have under 30 seconds.

Stella & Loretta Course 2 Strategies

Start with Loretta.

Right when you start, make sure to hug the ground while avoiding the stairs to conserve MP.

Fly over Dullahan while shooting a bit (do not shoot too much or else you will kill him before getting a damage boost off him) damage boosting off of him. How damage boosting works is you have to get hit by an enemy from either the top back or bottom back of your sprite so it pushes you forward (getting pushed is faster than normal movement). After the damage boost, kill him while still moving forward. Don't forget to hug the ground as much as possible to regen MP.

Nothing technical here since you can't damage boost yourself forward with the Behemoth. Just fly over it while killing it. Don't forget to hug the ground as much as possible to regen MP.

Start hugging the ceiling while shooting the pot. When Keremet appears, start killing it while damage boosting off it. Don't forget to hug the ground as much as possible to regen MP.

Change to Stella and start attacking. You should be doing 112 damage with each slash. Here you will have to hope for Astarte to either jump backwards moving herself to the right of the room or walk to the right (the first is much better) while you make your way to the right side of the room while killing her. Don't forget to hug the ground as much as possible to regen MP.

Start slashing Legion while moving to the right side of the room until you kill it. Each slash should be doing 112 damage. Don't forget to hug the ground as much as possible to regen MP.

Stay near the door while going down enough to see Dagon's head while slashing. Each slash should be doing 90 damage.

Here you will have to hope on Stella or Loretta to head to the right of the room so you can hug the right while killng. Each slash on Stella should be doing 85 damage and each slash on Loretta 112. Don't forget to hug the ground as much as possible to regen MP.

For Brauner, you will also have to hope that he dies somewhere near the right where you can hug the door. Each slash on him should be doing 56 damage.

If done correctly you should have under 1 minute 25 seconds.

Glitches

Duplicate Quest Reward

When obtaining your quest prize (the screen where it tells you what you receive), press START instead of any other button. It will cancel the screen and then you can talk to Wind again while gaining the prize before pressing START. Also, you can get an unlimited amount of HP/MP max ups, but it will only increase your HP and MP for a limited amount. Once you go past the limit, HP/MP max ups won't increase anymore (although you can still obtain them). If you've already finished the particular quest without doing the glitch, you won't be able to do it for that quest anymore, so take note of it.

Transferring data to a new game

You need to have completed the game at least once and an extra save file.

Go to the clear icon (New Game+) and confirm. Once you're at the option on choosing difficulty, cancel your game and then make a new file (need a free slot) and choose which mode you want to play (Jonathan, Richiter, Sisters or Old Axe Armor).

When done correctly, you will start a New Game of your chosen mode with the data of your NG+ file. This allows for NG+ categories for all characters. The following items affect gameplay in unlockable modes:

- HP/MP Max Ups
- Konami Man
- Vic Viper
- Twin Bee

Richter only:

- Mastered Knife
- Mastered Bible

Maria only Mode

You need to have completed the game at least once, have the 7th character (Old Axe Armor) unlocked and an extra save file.

In your clear file, save the game with Charlotte. When you're ready to do the glitch, go to the clear icon (New Game+) and confirm. Once you're at the option on choosing difficulty, cancel your game and then make a new file (need a free slot). Start the game with Old Axe Armor and you'll notice it'll be Maria instead (no Richter).

Useless glitch since you can't beat the game with only Maria (lack of super jump).

Toad Morph glitch

This glitch will take you out of the castle.

Use Jonathan and then let Charlotte use her Toad Morph spell (030). Right when you turn into a toad, use Jonathan's subweapon named Rocket Slash (029). If done correctly you'll go through the wall/roof/etc.

Only works at 4 spots so far. Basically it should work at all slanted walls that are thin. But then again there really aren't many in the game. You can walk off the map but nothing seems to happen. You can get back into the castle by using a Magical Ticket to warp to Vincent's shop or leaving Charlotte in the castle and press X to get back in.

You are limited to a certain amount of space once outside, you can go all the way off the screen from the left and appear at the right and vice versa. The map below shows the space where you can roam around. The circles are where you do the glitch. Video on how to perform the glitch is under the picture.

-UNDER CONSTRUCTION-

Knee Strike glitch

You will need the double jump relic, partner assist relic and Jonathan's skill 027 (Knee Strike). Equip Jonathan with the skill and make Charlotte your lead. Right when you're about to double jump with Charlotte, press the R button so Jonathan will use his attack. If done correctly, Charlotte's double jump will make Jonathan float.

I haven't experimented with it much, but in a New Game+, you can sequence break the 1st Egypt stage.

Disabled directional glitch

SUBMITTED BY SERIO

Have Jonathan as lead and let Charlotte cast toad morph with R, and as you're morphing press backdash. You'll lose all control over frog Jonathan except jumping up and attacking.

SUBMITTED BY SERIO

If you set Stonewall for Jonathan and Owl Morph for Charlotte, then go into the Stonewall pose and use Owl Morph with R the Stonewall effect will be still present in the owl form until you release the attack button. You will also be able to move up only.

Main menu glitch

SUBMITTED BY NEOJEW

You will notice that when pressing start to go into the main menu, press select won't change your top screen. If you enter the MAPS section in the main menu and then exit the MAPS page, pressing select will work for the top screen while still in the main menu.

Death glitch

SUBMITTED BY TRANSIENCE

After defeating Death, quickly skip the cutscene by pressing start. If done correctly, when you go out of the room, the boss door will close. If you go in, the door will close and there will be no way out.

Death glitch add on SUBMITTED BY SERRIS:

Activate the death glitch (i.e. skip the text after the battle), but don't leave the room. Now use Tempest. Many chains will appear out of nowhere, apparently protruding from somewhere outside the room, and follow the movement of your whirlwind.

How to progress AFTER doing Death glitch SUBMITTED BY SERRIS:

If you're one of the unlucky players who did the Death glitch and saved, don't fear, you don't have to start over!

1) Save the game.

2) From the left, go as far into the doorway marked with yellow as you can without actually entering the next room (use Jonathan for this). If done correctly, you shouldn't be able to see any of his face and very little of his head.

3) Make sure the top screen is showing the map. Enter the menu and suspend the game.

4) Select the skull icon next to your file and press Start to enter the menu immediately. Look at the map. If done correctly, the cursor will be sliding up the map along the yellow line when you unpause. Keep pausing and unpausing until the cursor is in the spot marked with green.

5) Suspend and load the game. If done correctly, you will reappear in a room near the spot you suspended in. Depending on where you are, make your way to either of the spots marked with red.

6) From the left, go as far into the doorway marked with red as you can without actually entering the next room (use Jonathan for this). If done correctly, you shouldn't be able to see any of his face and very little of his head.

7) Suspend and load the game. If done correctly, you will reappear in the spot marked with blue, between the Death boss door (DO NOT ENTER) and the elevator switch. Hit the switch to activate the elevator and ride it down to Master's Keep. Check the map to find the save room nearby and save. Congratulations, you have overcome the Death glitch dead end!

Subweapon sprite glitch

Equip Jonathan with the Javelin subweapon and Charlotte with Spirit of Light. Have Jonathan as the lead and press R for Charlotte to cast her Spirit of Light. After casting, change her spell to Piercing Beam and then cast it. If done correctly, certain subweapons will be glitched like:

Javelin: Javelin turns invisible (see video below)
Bible: Bible turns invisible
Axe: Axe turns into some kind of dot.

—-

SUBMITTED BY JONATHAN MORRIS

Knife: Knife turns invisible but if mastered, the outline will still be shown. Looks like you're shooting lasers.
Cross: Cross gets sprite errored. Looks like some kind of stick.
Ricochet Rock: Outline is still visible but the dot seems to be replaced with a sprite error that looks like a mirror.

—-

Game Crash: After casting Spirit of Light and Piercing Beam, use your subweapon. If it's glitched, let Charlotte cast a spell that effects you (Speed Up, STR Boost, etc) and the game will crash.

Partner jump glitch

SUBMITTED BY JONATHAN MORRIS

While having your partner out, tap the touch screen above your partner's head to make your partner jump (depending if you got the double jump relic, your partner will either jump once or twice). Once your partner is high enough, press X to switch to the jumping character and you will able to jump 1-2 more extra times (depending on whether you have the double jump relic or not) for a total of 2-4 jumps. Most likely useful for sequence breaking.

If you jump too fast the other will drop down, or teleport to follow you. If you jump too slow the partner will do a double jump themself and you would waste a jump.

Charlotte framerate error

SUBMITTED BY GLITCH

This glitch will make Charlotte stay in casting position as long as she stands on the ground. You can easily stop the glitch by switching to her. Have Charlotte as lead and backdash (L) then switch to Jonathan quickly and then press R for Charlotte to cast her spell. If done correctly she will freeze in casting position. An easy way to do it is to press L + X at the same time and then press R quickly.

Movable Grand Cross

SUBMITTED BY ZEROX25

In Richter Mode, have Maria as lead and Richter's subweapon on Grand Cross. Press R so that Richter comes out and performs Grand Cross. When he is performing it, press A and Richter will leave the screen and the Grand Cross will be on Maria. This way you can move with Grand Cross on with Maria and you can do any attacks that Maria can do.

Poison glitch

SUBMITTED BY DMAN IS LORD

In Hard Mode, as Charlotte, get hit by a Tanjelly. Then switch to Jonathan and get hit by a Vice Beetle. Switch back to Charlotte and use an Anti-Venom. After using it, quickly switch to Jonathan. He will become the color when he gets hit by poision (green) and get an outline of white. He will also not lose HP. This will disappear when you die or go to a save point.

Save room glitch

SUBMITTED BY JONATHAN MORRIS

Before beating the game, save in a save room where the statue isn't in the middle (Vincent's room and the left and right saves in Burnt Paradise come to mind). After saving, beat the game and save during the ending. Once you come back to your save file after beating the game, you will notice that your character will appear in the middle of the room instead of at the statue.

Maria wall glitch

While fighting The Creature(s), have Maria next to a wall and use her turtle spell. While in the turtle shell, if the Creature jumps on you, you will be forced backwards through the wall and into the next room.

Stella/Loretta room suspend glitch

SUBMITTED BY SERIO

After beating the sisters (with Sanctuary), if you suspend in the room, you will notice that the background music will be missing until you leave the room.

1000 Blades glitch

SUBMITTED BY SHADOWLINK1134

Set your team attack to 1000 blades and find a Persephone (the maid with the vacuum and martial arts). Use 1000 blades as she is about to stick her vacuum on you, you will continue your attack, not be turned around, and after you kill her you can walk around for the remaining duration of 1000 blades.

Stone glitch

SUBMITTED BY CASTLE POKEMETROID

Get your partner stoned in the great stairway, or the place with a similiar name. (For stoneing purposes, use the Catoblepas in the long room right after the Keremet boss). Then you go to any room with a Persephone with a vaccum cleaner. Have your partner get sucked. There will be little animation and your partner will be stuck in just one sprite. Attacking your partner won't make the sprite go away and switching causes your partner to turn back to stone, but you can switch back to your other charater. Leaving the room causes stone to return.

Time Stop glitch

SUBMITTED BY SERIO

If you stop the time, some graphical errors will occur. Some examples are the flame demons, they'll still fly around and attack you, but their wings will be frozen in time. Same for the maneating plants, they'll stop writhing around but will still be spitting the spores/stones out.

Owl morph glitch

SUBMITTED BY OUTOFTHEGAMER

1) As Charlotte , stand near the edge of a painting or warp
2) Equip the owl Morph ability
3) Press Up + Y for Owl Morph and you will begin to transform, but you'll also be teleported
4) If done correctly, when you return to the Castle Charlotte will be outside the map boundaries.

You can't get more than 1000% no matter what. But if you haven't covered every spot of the maps where it works you can get more rooms/percentage with it.

Here's some pics to show where it can be done. PICS BY OUTOFTHEGAMER

Some notes from Outofthegamer:

I also found that you can get some wierd effects from going 4-5 screens to the right (or left) and ending up back on the room that you started in: You will be invisible but you will be able to see where you are when you do a hyppogryph jump or back-dash. You can also use your partners attacks/spells while on this screen. And if you press up while in front of the painting, you'll warp—even though you're 5 or more screens away. I did it one time while over 50 screens to the left of the start room.

If you have any trouble switching to Jonathan after doing the glitch, just call him to join Charlotte. His Picture will flash rapidly on the bottom of the screen, then you can tap the switch characters button rapidly to switch…and then explore the map with hippogryph jumps.

Death scythe glitch

SUBMITTED BY FREAKGUY

When Death does his spinning scythe attack that bounces on the chains, make sure to break the chains before the scythe first touches them (most likely will be difficult on a New Game since you would lack to attack power).
If done correctly, the scythe will freeze in mid air and Death will float around while doing nothing. Very nice glitch for people who want an easy fight or are speedrunning.

Suspend glitch

SUBMITTED BY HAIBARA

Before entering the next room, move most of your body towards the next room (offscreen) but not too much or else you would enter the room. After doing that, suspend the game and come back. If done correctly, you'll be moving on the map vertically (check the map). You can warp to any spot you want as long as your dot touches that point. Once deciding a spot, suspend the game again right when your dot hits the point you want to warp to. Load suspend save and you'll noticed that you've warp to your wanted destination!

Might want to make a backup save just in case!

Amphisbaena glitch

SUBMITTED BY CASTLE POKEMETROID

Use your dagger subweapon (mastered version would most likely be better) and spam it on the top half area of the Amphisbaena (the woman area) to make it move backwards. Once it touches the wall, the glitch will now be able to be started. The faster you spam your daggers on her top half area, the more the Amphisbaena will float into the air.

White screen glitch

DISCOVERED BY DARKDRAGON_9600 and SUBMITTED BY SERRIS

Very simple glitch. Just stand on a Bone Pillar and use the Meteor dual crush. When performed correctly the screen will turn white and stay that way. To remove it just pause and then unpause your game.

Sand Worm/Poison Worm glitch

SUBMITTED BY CASTLE POKEMETROID

After defeating the Sand Worm/Poison Worm, slide downward into the pit while holding down. When performed correctly, you'll be stuck in the falling animation. You can do other interesting stuff afterwards like attack then get stuck into another position or spam subweapons without the need of backdashing.

Andras glitch

SUBMITTED BY SERRIS

Enter the room with the first Andras in City of Haze from the left and immediately use a flying / super jump ability to move along the ceiling past the Andras. As long as you stay behind it, it won't do anything, even if you attack. In addition, going inside the ceiling with Owl Morph or Maria / Sisters / OAA triggers a graphical glitch in the floor near the Andras, which appears to be the Andras's sword flames protruding from the ground. The farther you go past the upper boundary of the screen, the higher and bigger the flames. It disappears if the Andras activates its sword.

Mummy glitch

CREDIT: BIJOU

In the Forgotten City map, at the very bottom to the left of the teleporter room, there will be a room with respawning Mummies. Enter from any side and use Thousand Blades to kill all the spawning Mummies. Every once in a while a Mummy will spawn inside the ceiling at the top corner of the room.

Infinite Potions glitch

You need to have at least one item in your Use inventory, otherwise you can't access it.

1 item in Use inventory: Touch the screen around the middle of the right side of the black space while not at full health.
2 or more items in Use inventory: Touch the small space between the top-right item and the edge of the screen so the item description below reads "Restores 80 HP." Press A while not at full health.
