Infinite combo

It's possible to do an infinite combo on enemies until they're dead. Although it's much harder to do it on heavier enemies because they don't stagger and become juggled unlike light/average enemies, as long as you don't get hit, you'll continue the number of hits of the combo. Keeping up the number of hits is important because the more hits you do, the more extra damage you'll be earning per hit.

There are two ways of performing the infinite:

1. Fast Rising (heavy attack then quickly press light attack). It'll launch the enemy into the sky (if they're light/average weight) and you'll jump up for an air combo (if it's a heavy enemy, you'll still jump up while they're on the ground). The part where it becomes an infinite combo is don't press any attack button for an air combo, instead, right before you land (along with the enemy), press the light attack and then continue to launch them again with the Fast Rising.

2. Doing any kind of ground combo that leads to an air combo and perform a light attack right before you land and repeat.

Both versions can be mixed together for some variety.

Whip Doppleganger
Vampire Killer
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Mobius Brooch
I started by jumping out and doing a light whip [think 1st attack :) … ]. I proceeded to watch out for chances to do Fast Rising + Light Whip (as you have seen in my previous fights). If any of these connect, I will repeat it just one more time, then switch to "everyones favourite" (strong-strong-light-strong-light). This whole 9-hit combo will deal the most before Doppleganger dodges. Repeat…

Melee Doppleganger
Vampire Killer
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Mobius Brooch
I start by executing High-Speed_Edge, getting another 1st attack… I use the same combo as I used in the Whip Doppleganger fight, because he also know how to dodge. Then I just dodge around and watch for opportunities to repeat my combo…

Undead Parasite
Vampire Killer
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Mobius Brooch
I start by executing Spirit_Ripper. Then I just pull combos to finish the 'eye's individually… 1 Spirit_Ripper should last for 2 'eye's. After everything is gone, I wait at the center. When the final part appears, I execute Axe_Trap, then cast Invincible_Jar. I did a quick combo, then stayed back to re-execute Axe_Trap before the previous one totally goes off. After executing the 2 Axe_Trap, I used another "everyone's favourite" to finish it off.

Notes : I executed Axe_Trap so that the final part keeps getting hit, and it won't get to hide. The second Axe_Trap ensures that you can defeat the boss without it getting any chance to hide.

Golem
Vampire Killer
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Mobius Brooch
No solid stuff here from me… Sub Weapons make it go into defence, the best is just whipping. Do whatever that you have seen that works best…

As for the 2nd part, I execute Spirit_Ripper and use Fast Rising to deal damage.

Succubus
Fire Whip
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Mobius Brooch
In this run, I count myself lucky, because she just drift towards Leon without attacking or evasion or stuff… So I just start my Fast Rising + Light Whip on her. Talk about who playing who…

At other not so lucky times, I mainly watch out for her magical attack. If I perfect guard that one near her, I will be able to counter attack immediately with that combo. Other than that, its luck I guess…

Other notes : If you are doing that combo, her flowers might distract Leon's direction. I have not found any way around that one…

Medusa
Vampire Killer
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Mobius Brooch
For this fight, I cast Invincible_Jar and execute Spirit_Ripper and start my mayhem.

Joachim
Ice Whip
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Mobius Brooch
For his energy balls or something, I just do one Fast Rising for each one. Then I execute Spirit_Ripper, and start my combo. For this run, I was lucky and managed to defeat him in one round. Other times I cast the Black Bishop to try to defeat him in one round.

Forgotten One
Vampire Killer
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Mobius Brooch
Starting, I execute Axe_Trap to act as a shield against the maggots while I combo Forgotten One using my Fast Rising + Light Whip (be careful of the blood!). After something drops, the Light Whipping won't hit anymore, so i change my attacks. I execute Spirit Ripper to help with comboing, and use Fast Rising to deal damage. When I land I use Sonic Wave for the maggots.

[not illustrated in video] After another part drops (when you can see the game show the name "Forgotten One"), You can switch back to the 1st tactic.

Forgotten "2"
Ice Whip
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Mobius Brooch
Generally, everytime you attack the fist, use "everyone's favourite" combo. When the hand bleeds, and you have 'nothing to do', use Spinning_Edge and some long-reaching attacks to attack the body.

Forgotten "3"
Ice Whip
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Mobius Brooch
I mainly use Strong Whip and Spinning_Edge for this one. You can Quick Step past the breath he uses, then do Step Attack, and follow up the Step Attack with Spinning_Edge. If he drops the boulders and everything, pull your combos with Invincible_Jar (to protect against the falling rocks)

Note : As you can see, I always Quick Step past the breath without taking damage. This is like a trick in the game. When you are in Quick Step, you are invincible, until you land, that is…

Walter
Vampire Killer
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Ring of Fire
I just pull my mayhem on him until he does his fireball attack, then I cast Invincible_Jar, then unleash Leon's mayhem on him again…

Note that I alternate between my Fast Rising + Light Whip and "everyone's favourite" due to distance problems.

Death
Vampire Killer
Solar Plate
Draupnir
Brisingamen
Ring of Fire
What mainly helps here is Invincible_Jar and luck (in that Death does not move too much), so that you can keep pulling off your combos. My opinion is that the best part is when he summons his skulls, because you can keep attacking him and cast Invincible_Jar only when the skulls are about to blow.

Tips & Techniques

Sword Stance 1 (swords circling around you)

Damage: Low
Delay: Low
Charged attack: Launches a small enemy into the air. Pretty useless. It also has moderate delay for the charged sword, making you break your combo.
Special: Quick, moderate damage. Useless on most bosses but works very well on mobs of enemies.

Average damage per second with this is far better than stance 2, but you will have to stick close to enemies (best used on enemies that move slow or are large). Good for mob control.

Sword Stance 2 (swords behind Joachim)

Damage: High
Delay: High
Charged attack: Pushes/staggers enemies and some bosses. Always useful when you have the chance to charge it. Lots of damage and the delay is as much as a normal sword attack.
Special: Slow yet high damage. Useless on most enemies but works very well on most bosses. 9 hits.

Better than stance 1 when it comes to quick damage, but you will be suffering a lot of delay afterwards. It's homing detection seems to be better than stance 1 (works well on small or fast enemies). You can also attack from a far distance unlike stance 1.

Dash: Dash! But not just dash mindlessly. If you've noticed, Joachim can pull off two dashes in one go before severly having delay. The second dash also doesn't go as far as your first dash so it's best to do one dash, pause a split second, then do another first dash. The first dash will still have delay, but not as much as both dashes put together. The thing that makes this confusing is because both dashs look the same. Here's the breakdown:

First dash: 100% distance, little delay
Second dash: 75% distance, lots of delay

When you try it out more often, you'll get the hang of it.

Strategies

1) Fire Elemental
HP 1500
Tolerance: Fire
Weakness:Ice

Sword Stance: 2
Lucky Tip: The less blocks, the better.

2) Frost Elemental
Hp 1500
Tolerance: Ice, Holy Water, Crystal and Crosses
Weakness: Fire

Sword Stance: 2
Luck Tip: The less blocks, the better. If she does her spinning attack, it's best to get hit by it on purpose so she'll end the attack. If you decide to avoid it, she'll spin back and forth three times, which will waste time.

3) Thunder Elemental
HP 1500
Tolerance: Lightning
Weakness: Knives and Axes

Sword Stance: 2
Lucky Tip: The less blocks, the better.

4) Leon Fake 1
HP 1000
Tolerance: None
Weakness: None

Sword Stance: 2
Lucky Tip: The less Grand Crosses and backflips Leon Fake uses, the better. He's invulnerable at the startup of the Grand Cross.

5) Leon Fake 2
HP 1500
Tolerance: None
Weakness: None

Sword Stance: 2
Lucky Tip: The less Grand Crosses and backclips Leon Fake uses, the better. He's invulnerable at the startup of the Grand Cross.

6) Undead Parasite
HP 1200
Tolerance: None
Weakness: Holy Water and Crosses

Sword Stance: 2
Lucky Tip:

7) Golem
HP 1500
Tolerance: Lightning and Knives
Weakness: None

Sword Stance: 1
Lucky Tip: The less arm swings it does, the better. Best to use your special during the arm swings so you don't lose any time.

8) Succubus
HP 1000
Tolerance: None
Weakness: Fire and Knives

Sword Stance: 2
Lucky Tip: The less Clones and Vines she uses, the better. Vines is pretty exceptable since she stays still for you to attack but the Clones attack is going to cost you some time, simply because you'll be wasting time guessing which clone is the real one.

9) Medusa
HP 2000
Tolerance: None
Weakness: Axe

Sword Stance: 2
Lucky Tip: The less Rolls she does, the better. Although she rarely uses it, if she does use it though, you'll be wasting time, period.

10) Doppelganger (Joachim)
HP 1500
Tolerance: Knives, Axes and Crystal
Weakness: Ice, Holy Water and Crosses

Sword Stance: 1
Lucky Tip:

11) Forgotten One (phase 1)
HP
Tolerance: Fire, Lightning and Crosses
Weakness: Ice

Sword Stance: 1
Lucky Tip: The less bleeding and maggots, the better. Obviously.

Forgotten One (phase 2)
HP
Tolerance: Fire, Lightning and Crosses
Weakness: Ice

Sword Stance: 1
Lucky Tip: The less Arm Sweeps, the better.

Forgotten One (phase 3)
HP
Tolerance: Fire, Lightning and Crosses
Weakness: Ice

Sword Stance: 1
Lucky Tip: The less lasers, the better. Even though you could use your special to counter the laser, the damage per second isn't as high as just mashing on your attack button.

12) Walter
HP 1500
Tolerance: Dagger, Axe
Weakness: Holy Water, Cross

Sword Stance: 2
Lucky Tip: the less teleports and explosions Walter uses, the better. He's invulnerable during each teleport so you'd want him to do as many attacks as he can before he teleports. As for the explosion, you can get a few hits in before he releases it, but at the end you'll be losing more time than gaining.

13) Death
HP 4444
Tolerance: None
Weakness: None

Sword Stance: 1
Lucky Tip: Death doesn't really have any time wasters.
